Short Bio
Since mid-October 2017, I am a WASP Ph.D. student in the Internet Computing and Emerging Technologies Lab (ICET-lab) at Chalmers and University of Gothenburg in Sweden. I received my MSc and BSc in Software Systems from the University of Zurich where I was part of the Software Evolution and Architecture Lab (seal) research group during my master studies.

Research Interests
My current research focuses on methods and mechanisms to proactively manage the quality of cloud applications, in particular regarding software performance and deployment costs. In my previous research, I empirically studied performance variations in cloud environments through cloud benchmarking using synthetic micro-benchmarks and real-world application-benchmarks. I am best known for my work with Cloud WorkBench , a cloud benchmarking toolkit to automatically provision and execute performance benchmarks in cloud environments, which originates from my honored bachelor thesis.
