Miroslav Pantaleev

Research engineer and Head of Unit, Department of Space, Earth and Environment, Onsala Space Observatory, Electronics Lab

Miroslav received M.Sc. in EE from the Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria, in 1995, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, in 2000 and 2006, respectively. He was involved in number of projects as for example beam measurement characterization for HIFI Instrument of Herschel satellite and design and tests of HEB mixer for the APEX telescope. As Head of the Operation and Development Laboratory, he is responsible for the design, integration and testing of radio-astronomical equipment. His main areas of research are low noise cryogenic amplifiers and mixers, passive microwave components and system integration of optical and low noise microwave components.
