Johan Linton

Associate Professor, Architecture and Civil Engineering, Architectural Theory and Methods

Johan Linton is Associate Professor of Theory and History of Architecture at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. He has a Master of Science Degree in Engineering Physics and a Master Degree in Architecture. He wrote his dissertation on Le Corbusier's Ville radieuse project but has published numerous texts on other periods in the history on architecture as well as on Swedish contemporary architecture. He is a founding member of the Swedish cultural review Arche and has been responsible for its design and its content of architecture since the first issue was published in March 2002. He runs his own artist studio in Gothenburg and has received awards for both his scientific and his artistic work.
