Liane Thuvander

Professor, Architecture and Civil Engineering, Architectural Theory and Methods.

Liane Thuvander is a researcher and educated architect in the field of sustainable building with interests in visualization of social and environmental aspects in existing buildings and implementation of sustainable building knowledge in practice. The focus is on development of methodologies for spatial value mapping linked to visualization strategies to support stakeholder dialogue and decision-making in transformation of building stocks and urban neighborhoods. A major part of Lianes research is carried out in an inter- or transdisciplinary environment with cooperation partners from university, municipality, associations, and a number of stakeholders in the construction sector such as property managers, architects, technical consultants.
