Boy Lankhaar

PhD student, Department of Space, Earth and Environment, Astronomy and Plasma Physics, Galactic Astronomy

Boy Lankhaar is a theoretical chemist working on astrophysical problems. He is a part of the division for Astronomy and Plasma Physics and has his office at the Onsala Space Observatory. Boy's research includes
- magnetic field measurements with the help of maser-polarization observations
- modelling of molecular hyperfine structure and Zeeman effects, with a special interest for non-rigid effects
- investigating the possibility of graviational wave measurements with the help of molecular masers
