Researcher, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow, Electrical Engineering

Musa Furkan Keskin is a researcher and a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow (MSCA-IF) in the Communication Systems (CS) group at the department of Electrical Engineering (E2). His project "OTFS-RADCOM: A New Waveform for Joint Radar and Communications Beyond 5G" is granted by the European Commission through the H2020-MSCA-IF-2019 call. In addition, he works as a researcher in two Vinnova-FFI projects on traffic safety and automated vehicles via mmWave localization and sensing, in collaboration with industrial partners. His current research focuses on joint radar-communications in 5G and beyond wireless networks, with particular emphasis on dual-functional waveform design and proactive strategies for radar interference mitigation. He also develops algorithms for 5G cellular reference signal design, aiming to contribute to 3GPP release 17.
