Post doc, Department of Space, Earth and Environment, Physical Resource Theory.

Devon McAslan conducts interdisciplinary research at the intersection of transportation, technology, society, and the built environment, focusing on planning and policy issues related to sustainable transportation and smart mobility. Research projects explore: (1) the relationships between transportation systems/infrastructure, the built environment, and sustainable mobility choices; (2) planning for autonomous mobility and how the technology can enable more compact land use patterns and more efficient use of transport infrastructure; and (3) smart cities and smart mobility, which looks more broadly at governance systems for emerging technologies and how these technologies can be leveraged to meet goals around sustainability and equity.
