Carl-Erik Janson

Professor at Mechanics and Maritime Sciences, Division of Marine Technology

Carl-Erik is a Naval Architect and has competence in detailed flow around ships, resistance (EU: CALYPSO, FANTASTIC), propulsion (EU: LEADING EDGE), potential-flow theory, numerical methods for free-surface waves, automatic shape optimization (EU: FANTASTIC, VIRTUE), and theory for ship motion (seakeeping and manoeuvring). His present research field is in theory and Numerical methods for ship motion.
