Canan Aydogdu

Canan Aydogdu is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow (MSCA-IF) at the Communication Systems Group, Electrical Engineering Department. She is granted in 2017 by the EU for her project “GREENLOC: A High-Sensitive Green Localization System for High-Speed Self-Driving Vehicles”, by which she proposes a cross-layer multi-hop localization system for the future energy-efficient fast self-driving car networks.

Formerly, she was an associate professor at Izmir Institute of Technology, Turkey. She got her Ph.D. degree from Bilkent University, Turkey, in 2011. Her research interests are in the areas of performance optimization and modelling of medium access control protocols in wireless ad-hoc networks.
