My work lies at the intersection of Operator Algebras and Abstract Harmonic Analysis. I study operator algebras associated to groups and group actions using techniques from abstract harmonic analysis. My work concerns different generalisations of Schur and Herz-Schur multipliers, how they interact, and special types of these functions. Another aspect of my work concerns approximation properties of operator algebras associated to group actions; I am interested in understanding how approximation properties of a crossed product relate to similar properties of the underlying group and operator algebra, as well as amenability-like properties of the action.
Outside of mathematics I am a keen sportsperson. I specialise in badminton, and have competed in badminton tournaments all over Europe.
