My research goal is to fabricate novel, active, and durable materials for fuel cell and electrolyzer applications by physical methods. Currently, my focus is to develop and evaluate Pt group and non-Pt group metal-based model electrodes for PEMFC, AEMFC, and electrolyzers. The major part of my work focused on the study of catalyst ionomer interactions in AEMFC reactions, and evaluating plasma-modified Ni thin film alloys for green hydrogen production, and wastewater treatment. The main challenge is to address these catalysts with high activity and durability in real device configurations.
