Minttu Maria Kauppinen

Post doc, Chemical Physics, Department of Physics

I am working as a PostDoc researcher in the group lead by Professor Henrik Grönbeck at the Department of Physics and Competence Centre for Catalysis. My work in the group involves density functional theory based microkinetic modeling of the methanol synthesis reaction on various alloy surfaces, and investigating the core level shifts of indium and titanium oxides.

I received my PhD in Chemistry in 2020 from the University of Jyväskylä in Finland. My thesis was titled "Multiscale computational investigation of catalytic properties of zirconia supported noble metals" and was supervised by Professor Karoliina Honkala.
