Mingtao Huang


Mingtao Huang is a Ph.D in Microbiology. As a post doc in the System and Synthetic Biology group of Chalmers University of Technology, he focuses his research on consolidated bioprocessing in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The goal is to construct a yeast strain, which can utilize cellulose efficiently for production of valuable chemicals or proteins directly. Both enhancement of catalytic efficiency of cellulases and identification of important genes in yeast involve in his research.
