Marianne Liebi

Assistant Professor, Materials Physics, Department of Physics

I am Assistant Professor in the division of Materials Physics since August 2017. Before that, I worked as a Scientist at the MAX IV Laboratory, Lund University, where I have a continuing affiliation. The focus of my research is in the development of X-ray scattering and imaging techniques and their application towards materials with hierarchical structures. With a background in food science, I worked on magnetic alignable self-assembly structures during my PhD, received in 2013 from ETH Zurich. As a Post Doc in the coherent X-ray scattering group at the Swiss Light Source (SLS), Paul Scherrer Institute, I worked on method development in SAXS imaging.
