Anna Malmros

Researcher at the Department of Microtechnology and Nanoscience, Microwave Electronics Laboratory

Anna Malmros is a researcher at the Microwave Electronics Laboratory. In her research she focuses on transistors, circuits, and systems based on novel semiconductor materials. An overall objective is to increase the frequency of operation of these components, while simultaneously maintaining a high output power. In particular, high data rate wireless communication systems and radar applications could benefit from such technologies, but many other potential applications exist, such as sensing and imaging systems. Her work spans the development of processing methods and characterization techniques for high powers and at high frequency. She also works with wafer based circuit integration using spin-on dielectrics to stack multiple metal layers and achieve a more compact design.
