Alejandro Lancho Serrano

Postdoc, Electrical Engineering

Alejandro Lancho is a postdoctoral researcher in the Communication Systems group working with Professor Giuseppe Durisi. His research focuses on information theory and its applications to upcoming problems in next generations of wireless communication systems. He is involved in a project that aims to study and design secure, private, and lowlatency cloud connectivity protocols for IoT applications. Specifically, he is involved in the development of theoretical bounds that allow to characterize the minimum communication latency and the maximum energy efficiency that is compatible with a given level of security and privacy.
