Adrian Rodriguez Palomo

PhD Student, Materials Physics, Department of Physics

I am a PhD student in Marianne Liebi research group since March 2018. My projects is focused on the study of the anisotropy and nanostructure of liquid crystals during flow. I use scanning SAXS as the main method to visulalize the changes in flow for their further application in 3D printed bone-inspired hierachical composites. Apart from that, I also study the quality and nanostructure of new formed bone in prealigned scaffolds for bone defects using scanning SAXS and SAXS tensor tomography. Before starting my PhD, I got a BSc in Materials Science Engineering at Complutense University of Madrid and a MSc in Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology at Autonoma University of Madrid, Spain.
