About the course
This course is designed to accompany the Material Matters seminar series. It provides PhD students with an opportunity to broaden their scientific perspective, engage with cutting-edge research and world-leading scientists, and develop reflective and integrative thinking. Students will attend at least five seminars throughout the academic year and select two for deeper reflection. These reflections should demonstrate how the seminar content has influenced, shaped, or inspired their own research, including concrete examples and personal insights.
The course promotes interdisciplinary dialogue, critical thinking, and the ability to contextualize one's research within the broader materials science community.
