Inside the Lab: Testing Calcium Hydroxide for CO₂ Removal

Image 1 of 1

In this video, we walk through our new experimental setup designed to explore how calcium hydroxide can capture carbon dioxide from the air – an important step toward achieving negative emissions.

We demonstrate how the reactor allows us to adjust CO₂ levels, temperature, humidity, and airflow. You'll see how air passes through a cooler, heater, and humidifier before reaching the reactor chamber, where the carbonation process takes place.

The video also shows how samples are loaded, monitored, and analyzed – highlighting how we log carbonation rates hourly using a connected computer system.

A behind-the-scenes look at one of our key lab experiments in the pursuit of climate solutions!
