Yingxin Feng

Yingxin Feng is a PhD student in Chemical Physics. Her project aims at the investigation of N2O formation over different Cu-exchanged zeolites during NH3-SCR by density functional theory. The goal of her project is to unravel the mechanisms for N2O formation and formulate strategies for the design of emission control systems where N2O emissions are reduced and ultimately prevented. With the combination of theoretical calculations and experiments, the results of this project are expected to be used by automotive and catalyst manufacturers.
