<h4>Masters Level:</h4><a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.chalmers.se/en/education/your-studies/find-course-and-programme-syllabi/course-syllabus/TME141/?acYear=2024%2F2025">TME 141: Structural Dynamics</a> (7.5 ECTS, Study Period 2)The course aims at providing knowledge of structural dynamics concepts and presents current methods for solving dynamic problems, such as response of buildings due to wind load, machine vibrations , car body vibrations, and earthquakes. The main goal of the course is to give a solid foundation on both the basic equations that describe the motion of structural elements, as well as for computer aided engineering within structural dynamics.<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.chalmers.se/en/education/your-studies/find-course-and-programme-syllabi/course-syllabus/TRA455/?acYear=2024%2F2025">TRA 455: Athletic Intelligence in Robotics</a> (7.5 ECTS, Study Period 4, together with Petri T. Piiroinen)This course aims to provide the fundamentals of athletic intelligence in robotics to enable robust sensorimotor control in robots. Students will learn to put this knowledge into practice during tutorials and in exercise sheets using Python implementation and robot simulations and/or hardware experiments.<h4>PhD Level (Offered on Demand):</h4>FTME 140: Dynamics of Multi-body Systems (7.5 ECTS, Study Period 4, together with Håkan Johansson)This course aims to provide a deep understanding of minimal and maximal coordinates methods for kinematic and dynamic modeling of multii-body systems. The goal is that the students are able to write their multi-body simulation engine from scratch in a programming language of their choice and compare results with the off-the-shelf solvers for their pros and cons.
