Aim
The course aims to provide basic knowledge in financial analysis and business valuation.Learning outcomes (after completion of the course the student should be able to)
- Basic knowledge of accounting design- Basic knowledge of the components of the annual report (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow analysis, etc.)
- Skill in conducting a strategic analysis, using industry analysis, competitive analysis, and environmental analysis to identify a company's main profit drivers and risk factors
- Skill in performing external financial analysis
- Skill in conducting basic business valuation
- Understanding how the company's financial performance, position, and financing are affected by its operations and their conditions
- Understanding how the company's financial strategy impacts company value
- Skill in using Excel as a tool for financial analysis
- Ability to conduct a comprehensive analysis (SWOT analysis)
