
The transport system is very complex, and it is crucial to minimize the effects on human health and the environment. A broad understanding of transportation technologies and their emissions is important to enable a sustainable transportation system.
In this course you will get an introduction to current transportation technologies and the combined effects from emissions. You will learn, reflect and collaborate with students from other backgrounds, as will be a necessity in your future career.
General information
In addition to assignments and a laboratory, students will be divided into project groups. The project groups will write a report that addresses a broader task on the society level.
This course works within the United Nation’s Sustainable Development goals (most specifically Goal 3 Good health and well-being and Goal 13 Climate action).
Prerequisites
Because this course is a cross-disciplinary project and not part of any educational program/department, students from all programmes are welcome. Students at either the bachelor’s or master’s level are welcome.
