Other courses include spectroscopy, light-matter interaction, surface and nano-physics, and semiconductor technologies. You will combine theoretical understanding with computational and experimental methods to investigate material behaviour right down to the nanoscale. You will have access to Chalmers’ own photonics laboratory, where you can work hands-on with experiments and research in areas like fiber optic transmission, parametric processing, VCSELs, and more.
This pathway prepares you for careers in materials science, photonics, semiconductors, energy materials, and other advanced technology sectors, as well as research in these areas.
