You will study the physics of semiconductor devices, such as transistors, diodes, lasers, with options to extend into nanophysics, materials science, nanofabrication, and integrated circuits. This specialisation connects closely to Chalmers’ cleanroom facilities, and you will have regular access to these advanced facilities. It also connects to the nanofabrication laboratory (Myfab Chalmers) and research in quantum technology, making it a strong route into both industrial semiconductor roles and advanced research.
Requirements
The requirements for the Master's programme Electrical and Electronics Engineering apply to this specialisation.
How to select a specialisation
You may choose this specialisation after you have been admitted and enrolled. Only one specialisation can be selected.
