You will study cognition, physiology, organisational behaviour, and systems theory, and learn to apply ergonomic principles to everything from individual interfaces to larger systems. The specialisation is directly relevant to industries like healthcare, manufacturing and transport, where human factors such as user error or unnecessary physical strain can carry serious consequences. The overall goal is to teach you how to optimise the ways humans physically interact with increasingly complex and advanced systems.
