You will learn how mechanical systems in motion respond to physical strain, as well as how to simulate, predict and control that behaviour.
Courses cover the foundations of dynamic responses in structures, in terms of eigen frequencies, modal analysis, and stability, using analytical methods and commercial simulation software. You will also carry out lab experiments on dynamic systems and compare results with your simulation models, creating a practical feedback loop between theory and measurement that runs throughout the specialisation.
This specialisation is ideal if you are interested in vehicles, mechanical systems, robotics, or any application where managing dynamic behaviour is central. You will be ideally suited for roles in control systems design, robotics, vehicle dynamics and more.
