Through courses covering things like virtual reality sound and AI for musical computing, you will learn about signal processing and immersive audio environments, and have the chance to carry out perceptual experiments in a self-designed virtual audio system. One of the courses even offers you the chance to build your own instruments, compose with everyday sounds, and use AI to create and analyse audio, and concludes with an exhibition and performance event. The methods learnt through music technology are also highly relevant for other fields including monitoring of machinery and biomedical signal analysis.
