When the entire light vehicle industry and partly the heavy vehicle industry convert to electrification, we intensify our system research for pure electrification.
Within the field, system research for clean electrification is carried out. The need is created by the entire light vehicle industry and partly the heavy vehicle industry converting to electrification. Research questions that we can contribute with are mainly relating to systems, where we can use our hybrid lab to analyze all or parts of propulsion systems consisting of electrical components. Here we are developing our collaboration mainly with the department of Electrical Engineering at Chalmers. In the field, we are also intensifying our collaboration with research center SEEL, light vehicle manufacturers CEVT, Polestar, Infimotion and Volvo Cars, as well as with the heavier vehicle manufacturers Volvo Penta and Volvo Trucks.
