Using Data Management Plans to support your research

Chalmers Data Office is offering a series of short seminars  on topics of relevance to researchers and doctoral students. The theme for the first seminar is "Using Data Management Plans to support your research".

Overview

The event has passed

A short introduction to Data Management Plans (DMP) and to Data Stewardship Wizard (DSW), a tool for creating data management plans for FAIR open science chosen and supported by Chalmers.

Data management plans serve as a tool to document how research data is handled during all research phases. The establishment, upkeep, and utilization of a DMP are fundamental data management practices.

According to Chalmers guidelines for good research (C2023-0615), each research activity should establish a DMP for their research data in connection with the activity's planning or initiation, and subsequently update this plan as needed.

Future topics will include data storage and sharing, GDPR, publishing research data, data security and more. Dates will be added soon.
