Science of Innovation – Modern TRIZ approach and major tools

Modern TRIZ is a result of over 30 years of further development of classical TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving).

Classical TRIZ is a systematic approach originally developed to efficiently solve the problems of engineering nature. In turn, Modern TRIZ is a globally accepted approach building on classical TRIZ enabling it to become a complete innovation framework, from identifying fields of demand for innovation to delivering fully developed new solutions accepted by the customer.

Dr. S. Litvin is one of the founders of GEN TRIZ, LLC, Modern TRIZ-driven Innovation solution provider company. He drives the ongoing development, testing and implementation of GEN TRIZ's methodology, and supervises GEN TRIZ's Global Knowledge Network of experts. Dr. Litvin has led dozens of innovation projects for Fortune 1000 companies worldwide including Alcoa, ABB, Chiquita, Clorox and Covidien, Electrolux, Intel,  Procter&Gamble and many more.

Dr. Litvin visits Chalmers to give guest lecture in the frame of the Tracks course TRA365 “Inventive Problem Solving” and gives this lecture as a compliment. The lecture is targeting academic and research staff of Chalmers but also open for general public.
