Abstract: "Our everyday life is filled with elaborated carbon-based products constructed with a with a wide range of materials not seldom in a blend to achieve best functionality. Even one-use items are usually made of high-quality materials. This talk will give some reflections on our relation to carbon materials, their structure and functionality, our options to recycle complex polymer blends and the limitations we face".
