Pedagogical seminar at Mathematical Sciences

Content: Often engineering students do not see in which ways their mathematical education is relevant for their engineering study course (“Why and where do I need this?”). In my talk I will outline different ways to let students experience the relevance starting with classical learning settings like lectures and assignments and moving on to project tasks where more self-organised student activity is required. I will also talk about ways to find suitable tasks for students.
