Abstract: The technique of auxiliary Monge-Ampère equations first used by Guo-Phong-Tong recently led to uniform estimates of Green's functions, diameters and Sobolev constants for degenerating Kähler metrics. On the other hand, research on klt spaces, and in particular partial resolution results by Xu and Ou motivate to study orbifolds closer. In this talk, I will point out why the key steps of the auxiliary Monge-Ampère technique are insensitive to the presence of quotient singularities.
