Abstract: We are going to talk about singularities of complex analytic spaces and maps defined on them. First, we will discuss whether it is possible to use Milnor's approach to study these maps. Then, for isolated singularities, we will talk about deformations, while for non-isolated singularities we will explore the topology of their links.
