Abstract: Entanglement is one of the key quantum effects that lies in the heart of applications of quantum technologies. We are still in the process to understand its full potential.  In this lecture I will discuss the role of C*-algebras in the study of quantum entanglement by looking at quantum strategies for non-local games that involve two non-communicating players (Alice and Bob) who cooperatively play to win against a referee.
