Analysis and Probability Seminar

We will review some recent results that put Fisher's Fundamental Theorem of Natural Selection into a broader perspective by using Fisher information and the related information geometry. This will lead us also to discuss gradient flows and the strength of diversity. Along the talk we will introduce all the relevant concepts, in order to make it suitable for a general audience, with no prerequisites in Fisher information or Fisher's fundamental theorem.
