Abstract: Scattering amplitudes are connected to numerous different areas of physics and mathematics, such as modular forms, regularized integrals, multiple zeta values and periods. In this talk I will discuss recent work with Haack and Zimmerman (LMU Munich), in which we calculate certain Feynman integrals that arise in string theory amplitudes. Our method bears some resemblance to Francis Brown's canonical integrals (https://arxiv.org/abs/2205.10094), that depend on mass parameters associated with external half-edges of graphs. With these additional parameters, our integrals are finite. I also relate this to recent work with Daniel Persson on massive Maass-Jacobi forms.
