Master Thesis Fair at Chalmers 2026

Chalmers University of Technology works actively to create opportunities for students to meet and collaborate with industry and the public sector. If your organisation has a challenge, research question or project idea that could be suitable for a master’s thesis, the Master Thesis Fair provides an opportunity to meet students and exchange ideas about potential thesis projects.

Collaboration with an external organisation gives students the opportunity to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges, while providing companies and organisations with new perspectives, knowledge and ideas.

At Chalmers University of Technology, every master’s programme is completed with a master’s thesis. The thesis project is supervised by Chalmers researchers and provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge and skills required for independent work as a Master of Science in Engineering.

Participating Master’s Programmes

Students from the following programmes will participate in the 2026 fair:

• Applied Mechanics (MPAME)

• Production Engineering (MPPEN)

• Product Development (MPPDE)

• Materials Engineering (MPAEM)

• Industrial Design Engineering (MPDES)

• Systems, Control and Mechatronics (MPSYS)

New for 2026, students from the following programmes will also participate:

• Mobility Engineering (MPMOB)

• Sustainable Electric Power Engineering and Electromobility (MPEPO)

Who should attend?

Companies and public sector organisations interested in meeting master’s students and presenting current or future master thesis ideas are invited to participate.

Master’s students interested in collaborating with an external organisation for their thesis are encouraged to attend. Chalmers researchers who are considering participating as supervisors are also welcome.
