Title: Ultra-low-loss thin-film lithium niobate waveguides platform and its applications

Abstract: Thin film lithium niobate (TFLN) is a promising photonic integration platform owing to its unique material properties including simultaneous second and third order nonlinearity, large electro-optic (EO) coefficient, and ultralow material loss
with large transparent window. Here, we achieved ultralow propagation loss TFLN waveguides which are considered as one of the most fundamental and critical ingredients. Applications like high speed EO modulators, supercontinuum generation and Kerr microcombs are also demonstrated.
