Our Goal
Develop an Excellence Cluster on Innovative Water Solutions

Why This Matters
Water treatment is critical for global sustainability, public health, and environmental protection. Innovative technologies are urged as traditional methods are not designed to remove contaminants, such as PFAS (“forever chemicals”), microplastics, heavy metals, and antibiotic-resistant pathogens.

Our Research Themes
1. Advanced Membrane Technologies and Hybrid Systems
2. Emerging Contaminants and Microbial Risk Assessment
3. Intelligent Monitoring and Early-Warning Systems
4. Circular Water Economy and Resource Recovery
5. Societal, Policy, and Security Dimensions

Who Should Attend
Researchers, Industry Professionals, Start-Ups, Policy Makers
