As the only Swedish university, Chalmers organizes Falling Walls Lab, a local qualifying round of the international pitch competition Falling Walls.

The competition gives students and early-career researchers the opportunity to pitch an idea with the potential to help solve important societal challenges. During Falling Walls Lab, participants present their idea to a jury, which selects a winner. The winner receives travel and accommodation to attend the international Falling Walls Conference in Berlin in November, where finalists from around the world gather to present ideas that can contribute to scientific and societal breakthroughs.

Apply to pitch via the link above no later than April 24. After the application closes, 12 participants will be selected to present their idea at Falling Walls Lab at Chalmers on May 27. The winner of the local competition will receive travel and accommodation as well as a spot to pitch at the international final in Berlin in November.

The competition is open to anyone affiliated with a Swedish higher education institution.
