Abstract:
Radar sensor technology for diverse biomedical applications has undergone extensive research over the past decade, especially with the commercial availability of millimeter-wave radar sensors.
Biomedical radar possesses distinctive attributes, including contactless operation, cost-effectiveness, compactness, user-friendliness, and privacy preservation, and these qualities make it highly-suited for applications in both inpatient and outpatient healthcare settings. Our healthcare system is undergoing a paradigm shift from reactive to predictive, preventive, and personalized medicine, where biomedical radar has the potential to play a significant role.

In this presentation, I will commence by providing an overview of the latest advancements in biomedical radar technology. Following that, I will delve into my research focus, show key findings, and discuss main challenges. Finally, I will talk about the future work and offer insights into prospects.
