Summary

Hardware attacks (e.g. Spectre, Meltdown, ...) pose a threat to CPU systems and require expensive solutions currently. This talk presents and analyses several hardware attack detection strategies and evaluates them on top of the Xuantie C910 RISC-V processor.

Short Bio

Ramon Canal is a full professor at UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya). He is the coordinator of the Vitamin-V EU project where UPC is developing novel mechanisms to increase the security of RISC-V (and CPU in general) against hardware attacks.
