Like several other institutions, Chalmers now has an annual celebration. It will honour the university and become a yearly ceremony on par with the Doctoral Degree Conferment Ceremony and the Inauguration of Professors.
The annual celebration is connected to 5 November, the date on which the Chalmers School of Crafts and Design was inaugurated in 1829, and the opening ceremony takes place on that very day.

Prizes awarded this year:
• Pedagogical Prize
• The Areas of Strength Award
• Chalmers Prize for Impact in Society
• Chalmers Equality Award

A warm welcome! Registration is open until 1 November.

Doors open at 15:30 in the auditorium and guests take their seats at 15:50. The ceremony starts at 16:00; after the ceremony, refreshments will be served in the Volvo foyer.
