Miroslaw Staron is a full professor within software engineering with many years of experience within software development, software metrics and machine learning. In this seminar he will give a presentation on time-series data analysis of physiological signals from the MicroHRV study at CHAIR.

Inside the AI+ Ecosystem: The OEM Perspective on Intelligent Mobility
Dr. Shafiq Urréhman is VP & Tech Lead at Zeekr Technology Europe, where he leads the development of all AI/ML-enabled products and oversees academic research in strategic technology domains. With over 15 years of experience and a PhD in Signal Processing, he has driven innovation across automotive, mining, forestry, telecommunications, and MedTech sectors.
His expertise spans computer vision, natural language understanding, multimodal signal processing, robotics, and computational neuroscience. Prior to Zeekr, he held faculty roles in AI and machine learning and served as CTO and founder of multiple startups, translating cutting-edge research into commercially successful, real-world solutions. He remains committed to AI safety, sustainable innovation, and the strategic deployment of intelligent technologies across industries.

AI for understanding of cardiovascular diseases - improved diagnosis and treatment
Araz Rawshani is a cardiologist working at Sahlgrenska University Hospital and the University of Gothenburg, where their research group is developing artificial intelligence within cardiovascular care.
