Materials for Tomorrow is an annually recurring conference that addresses the material challenges of the future in different ways. This year's conference will be held at Chalmers University of Technology on 13–14 November with several internationally recognized speakers. The topic of 2025 is Bioinspired Materials.
Bioinspired materials involve areas such as robotics and sensors, antimicrobial materials, understanding complex hierarchical structures in nature, biochemical applications, design principles, and sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions.
The conference will take place at Chalmers Conference Centre, RunAn, in Gothenburg on 13-14 November with several internationally recognized speakers.

Programme Day 1 and Day 2
About the programme Materials for Tomorrow brings together researchers, students, and industry professionals to explore the frontiers of bioinspired materials. The programme features inspiring keynote talks, thematic sessions, a panel discussion, rapid-fire poster presentations, and a poster exhibition. You can register for different parts of the conference separately. As always, we highlight a broad range of perspectives and challenges within materials science – from energy storage and health applications to structural materials and nature-inspired design. We also invite postdocs and PhD-students at Chalmers to take part in our photo competition and engage with the poster exhibition that showcases ongoing research.
