Katja Salomon Johansen

Katja S. Johansen works in the area of industrial use of carbohydrate active enzymes. She is visiting Chalmers for one year and comes with 13 years of experience from the large biotech company Novozymes. Katja has been on the very forefront of the discovery of new important class of enzymes called lytic polysaccharide monooxygenases (LPMO) and is actively involved in the CESBIC Era-IB project which is focusing on further our scientific understanding of these enzymes.
