Mikael Mangold

Doctoral student, Architecture and Civil Engineering, Water Environment Technology

Mikael is a doctoral student at the Division of Water Environment Technology at Chalmers. He is doing his PhD in the Formas project Homes for Tomorrow (H42), in which he is responsible for water and sanitation. Social sustainability is an important part of most of the projects Mikael is involved in.

Mikael is also involved in development work and humanitarian aid. He has worked as a water and sanitation engineer in South Sudan, Tanzania, Iran, Ecuador and Brazil. Mikael works a couple of months every year as a water engineer in humanitarian emergencies.
