Bridge Operations Simulator

In a bridge operations simulator.

Our bridge simulator from Kongsberg consists of five identical bridges. On these bridges we give courses in navigation, radar navigation, and anti-collision navigation using ARPA, ECDIS and manoeuvring.

A couple of nights a week, the bridges are staffed during the study period of SBST (Student-Based Simulator Training).

One of the bridges is slightly larger and prepared for A-rating. It is the bridge used for interconnection with the engine room simulator for co-training of mariners and marine engineers. It also has DP II-simulator for training in dynamic positioning. One of our DP desktop trainers can run on one of the small bridges as DP 1 system
